Early Childhood (Babies-Preschool) 
Elementary (Kindergarten-6th grade) 

Please answer the following questions, which will help us connect you with the age group in which you feel most comfortable serving. 

Position Information

Volunteers arrive 30 minutes before the service begins on days they serve. Volunteers serve at either the first or the second service. We have many different areas in which to serve. Please read carefully so we can put you in a place that works best for you!

NURSERY
Caring for newborn-11 month olds. Changing diapers, feeding, soothing, general care.

ONES
Caring for our one year olds. Teaching an age appropriate lesson, leading activities, diaper changing and general care.

TWO'S & THREE'S
Our two and three year olds are eager, hands on learners! Lead or assist in teaching a lesson, leading activities, changing diapers/providing bathroom assistance, general care.

PREK
Caring for our 4 & 5 year olds. This age loves hands on application of the story and bring tons of great questions! Lead or assist in teaching the lesson, leading activities, providing assistance as needed for bathroom breaks.

ELEMENTARY LARGE GROUP TEACHER
Presents the lesson/story to grades K-6.

ELEMENTARY SMALL GROUP LEADER
Lead a grade specific group through application of the weekly lesson. These positions are needed during the 9:00 am and the 10:45 am service.

ELEMENTARY SMALL GROUP HELPER
Assit the leader with a grade specific group of children. These positions are needed during the 9:00 am and the 10:45 am service.

TECH TEAM
Advance slides during the singing time and large group lesson time (Elementary group).

INCLUSION BUDDY
This person will be paired one-on-one with a child who has extra needs, providing guidance and assistance to him/her in the classroom.

CHECK IN/WELCOME TEAM
These individuals serve to help parents check in their children easily, and to extend care to parents and children as they first arrive at church.

GUEST SERVICES HOST
This position will serve on the check in team before the service begins. They will check in new guests, show children to their classroom and answer questions families may have about our programs. After check in is complete, this person will provide support to the volunteers in the classrooms, be extra help for bathroom breaks and page parents if needed.

VIP ROOM
This position oversees our game room for children whose parents are volunteering. Children must attend the 9:00 service, then can attend the VIP room for the 10:45 service to play board games or video games.

SUB
Provide classroom/check in backup if someone is not able to serve.

Please note: Not all positions are available for both services. This portion helps us learn about your interest, but does not automatically commit you to serve where you indicated.
