Parent Child Dedication

September 23rd, 2018

We will be dedicating parents and children during our worship services on Sunday, September 23rd. This is a way to publicly commit to raising your child(ren) in the ways of the Lord.

Dedications will take place within the first 15 minutes of the 9:00am and 10:45am service. You will have the opportunity to select which service you wish to participate in to plan ahead. Children may then remain in the service with parents or be taken to their Children’s Ministry classes.

Armor of God -- Thursday mornings

September 28th, 2018

All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you.

The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory

This seven-session Women's study will take place on Thursday mornings at 10:30am at the Kosciusko Community YMCA, and will be hosted by Emily Hoover. You do not need a Y membership to attend, and childcare is provided for free for those with a membership (and for a discounted rate for those without).

The cost of the group is $13 for a Study Guide which contains six weeks of "homework" in between our seven sessions together.

Those participating in baptism are asked to affirm they:

  • Believe Jesus Christ is the only one who can forgive their sins and make them right with God.
  • Believe that He has forgiven them of all their sins.
  • Intend to live the rest of their lives for His glory.
